As part of MEDS - Meeting of Design Students, an international design network, I ran a practical workshop on image composition together with Jonas. Our aim was to teach the participants the basics of composition, light and perspective using nothing more than their smartphones.
In just three intensive hours, unexpected image compositions, creative ideas and exciting perspectives were created. After a short introduction, the participants explored their surroundings through the lens of their cell phones, captured fascinating motifs and developed their eye for exciting image composition. Finally, we printed the photos in black and white and created a small mini-exhibition in which we analyzed and discussed the works together. Despite the short time, it was an inspiring workshop full of new perspectives, creative discoveries and great moments.
